NEW Professional Estimators Track

This track is a new track intended for those individuals that have years of experience in estimating and are interested in furthering their education on the latest trends in the profession.  This track will expose users to both leading industry topics as well as the latest tools in ICE that help meet those demands.  The focus of this year’s professional estimator’s track is Building Information Modeling-BIM.

BIM for Builders
Gain Competitive Advantages by Using Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technologies
This session will introduce the concepts and technologies of BIM. It will also explain the potential benefits of using BIM technologies to building professionals including contractors, construction managers, and design-build firms.

BIM Implementation
BIM will change the way builders manage AEC projects. In the end of the day, it is the processes, not the software, which will be the key to the success of all BIM projects. This session discusses many issues regarding how to strategize for the adaptation and implementation of BIM technologies at the corporate and project level.

BIM Solutions by Innovaya
This session provides an overview of Innovaya software solutions and professional services to support BIM and virtual construction. We will demonstrate the basic workflows from design, modeling, to downstream virtual construction functions including 3D coordination, 4D scheduling, 5D estimating, and other AEC applications.

TAKE ADVANTAGE NOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! Reservations MUST BE MADE BY SEPTEMBER 15, 2008.  This date is critical as the Memphis Marriott Downtown has a very high occupancy rate.  After September 15, all blocked rooms will be released to general sale and the special room rates will no longer be in effect. Requests made after the cutoff date will be accepted at the discretion of the hotel and upon availability at the regular room rate in effect at the time of the reservation. All attendees are responsible for their own room, tax and incidentals.  All guest room rates are subject to applicable taxes.
