Constructech Recognizes 50 Companies to Lead Technology Transformation
Carol Stream, Ill., July 5, 2012 – Where will your IT department stand in a few months? How about in a few years? This is the question on the minds of construction professionals across the industry. Today, with the announcement of the Constructech 50, Constructech magazine aims to make the future just a bit clearer.
The Constructech 50, published in the July/Aug issue of Constructech magazine, is a listing of the most influential construction-technology providers with a strong and ongoing market presence, as determined by Constructech's editorial team.
The Constructech team considers various criteria when determining the winners. Some of those criteria include having a strong product/service aimed at the construction industry, ongoing customer satisfaction and growth, as well as outreach and educational efforts for the construction industry.
“The evolution of technology solutions can shake up the marketplace. It may give newer companies a chance to establish themselves in the arena, and it can also let longtime players prove they are committed to the industry,” says Peggy Smedley, editorial director, Constructech. “The 2012 Constructech 50 exemplifies this, as a snapshot of today’s marketplace. This year’s winning companies are giving builders and contractors solid solutions on which to build, and continue to transform.”
“Builders and contractors are currently looking to the future of IT in their companies, and how it will help them sculpt their ongoing success,” says Mike Carrozzo, chief editor, Constructech. “Construction-technology providers must then find a way to provide solutions that meet these needs. The members of the 2012 Constructech 50 have done just that, and are in turn carving out their place in the future of the industry.”
