DigitICEr®

Using a digitizer board during the takeoff process allows you to determine and record, graphically and numerically, the lengths, areas, perimeters and tallies on your plans.

The MC² digitizer software (DigitICEr®) gives you the ability to send the digitized lengths and areas and counts to construction system dimensions. You can digitize different portions of the plans in different colors and in different line styles, all scaled. ICE also lets you save the data for future reference and it lets you print the digitized images.

ICE supports a wide variety of digitizers. Your digitizer must be Wintab compliant. Wintab is an open industry software standard that allows for seamless integration between digitizing boards and software packages running in Microsoft Windows. The Wintab driver allows the digitizer to talk to ICE. MC² does not supply Wintab driver files for digitizers. You should contact your board manufacturer for the latest Wintab driver.
