ICE Hardware and System Recommendations

The following recommendations are needed to operate ICE in a productive environment. If ICE is run on less than recommended equipment, you will not experience sufficient performance.

Operating System:

Windows NT, 2000, XP, and Vista

Processor:

1.6 GHz or greater

Memory:

512 Meg minimum with 1024 Meg preferred

Monitor:

19” (the larger the screen, the more satisfactory the display)

Video Card:

16 bit (high color) or higher and 1024 x 768 resolution support (800 x 600 resolution does not display the full screen without scroll bars)

CD-ROM:

Distribution of ICE is on CD

Mouse:

A pointing device is required

Internet Browser:

In order to be able to view the on screen help, you must have a browser (Netscape 7.0 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5)
