MC² offers a variety of training options for users and administrators of ICE®. ICE training covers all levels of user knowledge from beginner to advanced, and it is designed to give you the knowledge and tools to help you master use of the software in a short time.

The experienced training staff at MC² is highly skilled and educated to give you the best possible results from our ICE classes. They are highly accessible in and out of the classroom. We offer training seminars at our corporate office aswell as your office or desired location.

Training Classes at both our training locations take advantage of professional classroom facilities.

Classes are limited in size to make sure each student is in an effective learning environment. Here you will get hands-on training with the attention and detail you need to get the most out of ICE.

ON-SITE ICE® TRAINING

Fees for training at the customer's site are $1,500 per day plus the instructor's expenses. For more information on fees for customer site training over multiple days, class details, prerequisites, and class dates you may contact Cara Lawson - 800.225.5622.

Windows® programs are very graphical in nature and in going to a windows environment MC² has experienced good and bad instructional environments at various client sites.  The following are MC² requirements for an effective training environment at your office.  You, the client, are responsible for training fees, the instructor’s expenses and any training facility and/or equipment rental, if needed.  Each training class’ requirements may be different and you should communicate your environment to the assigned instructor.  Unless prior arrangements have been made with the instructor, the customer is responsible for installing and setting up the programs for the class.

Physical Arrangement

The best arrangement is to conduct the training class in a conference room or large open area with each student (12 or less) having his/her own PC to perform the classroom exercises.  Each student should be able to view their PC screen and the instructor’s projection screen.  The instructor will typically bring his/her own laptop computer and will need to connect it to a projection unit (customer to provide or one can be provided for a cost of $300 per scheduled training session).

System Requirements

Requirements listed below are those that MC² feels are minimums for training and instructing ICE® in a productive environment.  Although the ICE system will run on equipment with less than the listed minimums, the user will most likely experience less than optimum performance from their system.  It is also best if each computer has a similar and consistent setup (operating system, processor, memory, etc.) to avoid slow response on machines with less than the minimum requirements.

Processor:  1.6 GHz or Higher
Memory:  512 Meg (1024 Meg preferred)
Hard Drive:  300 Meg
Video Monitor:  19” (the larger the screen, the more satisfactory the display)
Video card:  16 bit (high color) or higher and 1024 x 768 resolution support (800 x 600 resolution does not display the full screen without scroll bars)
CD-ROM:  Distribution of MC² is on CD
Mouse:  A pointing device is required
Internet Browser:  In order to be able to view the on screen help, you must have a browser (Netscape 7.0 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5)

Projection Unit:  A projection unit capable of 1024x768 resolution is required to adequately instruct and demonstrate the ICE product.

Printing:  HP LaserJet® or compatible laser printer is optional.  It is not a requirement that each student have a printer.  During the class, most of the printing will be viewed on the screen.

MC² reserves the right to cancel any and all classes. The class dates, fees and curriculum are subject to change without notice. The customer will be responsible for their hotel accommodations, airfare, and any personal expenses (dinner, sightseeing, etc.). All hotel rates are subject to applicable taxes, service charges and any rate change per the hotel.
